Taxes



29. Do I need to pay any other taxes as a seller on your platform?

All registered sellers are obligated to pay the required VAT to the Egyptian Tax Authority according to the applicable laws and regulations. The Baby Garage sends its sellers a tax fee invoice that complies with the rules of the Egyptian Tax Authorities to inform them of the deducted fees and commissions.

Also, The Baby Garage charges the sellers a commission per product, in addition to the 14% VAT. As for tax collection, each seller has their own obligations based on the policies of their business.

THE BABY GARAGE has the right to charge you any applicable unbilled tax if the tax authorities determine that the tax registration number you provided is unreliable, inappropriate for your business, or unconnected to the owner of The Baby Garage Account. You hereby grant The Baby Garage your full consent to withhold payments from your account/other accounts and apply those payments to any outstanding taxes.
